Author’s Background: Author Arun Bhardwaj, is a Professional turned Entrepreneur, with over 25 years of experience in the corporate sectors of India and US. He has held leadership positions in some of the premier organizations like Bharti Airtel, Ericsson and HCL Group. He is currently providing consulting and coaching services to various organisations and is a Partner with Positive Momentum in India, UK’s leading management consultants. He was recently appointed as an Advisor to Loyal VC, a venture capital firm based in Canada.

Neel Preet: Firstly, Congratulations on your book, “The Magical Formula For Happiness & Success!” Well, can you please share your experience about making your work come into the form of book!
Arun Bhardwaj: I have been a ‘Life and Executive Coach’ for almost 4 years and I have been fortunate to coach hundreds of people to achieve amazing results. I wanted to share some of my learnings and experiences with others, so that they can also benefit from the book.
Neel Preet: What inspired you to write this book? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?
Arun Bhardwaj: Only 2-3% people in this world are truly successful in their chosen field and even less can claim to be ‘Happy and Successful’. Why live an ordinary life, when you can live an extraordinary life? Why not fulfil your potential and make a difference to your personal and professional life? Most people are not aware of their ‘Life purpose or how to make SMART goals’ and this book will help them with a step-by-step process to achieve everything they want in this life.
Neel Preet: You’ve given a very interesting title to your book, which is very inspiring too so, what made you go for this title for your book?
Arun Bhardwaj: Like I said, not many people are successful and even fewer people are happy and successful. I want people to be aware of that magical formula, the secret sauce that can help them to be ‘happy and successful’.
Neel Preet: What was your mind-set, while working on this book? Is it based on any particular experience of yours?
Arun Bhardwaj: Yes, it’s based on my personal experiences and learnings from some of the best gurus in the world, such as Jack Canfield. I have seen lots of success in my work life and I have also suffered some big setbacks, especially in business but my mindset has always been positive. Anyone else in my place, would have possibly broken down, given up but thanks to God, my family, my friends and the learnings; I have remained positive and I would like to share this positivity with others.
Neel Preet: What are some of the learnings that you gained from writing this book of yours?
Arun Bhardwaj: Some of my learnings are:
- You can achieve anything that you want, as long as you have a purpose, a goal, and an action plan.
- There are number of proven tools and techniques that can help you to stay happy and positive, we should know how to use them.
- Your attitude determines your altitude, so always stay positive.
- Your habits determine the future that you will have.
- It doesn’t matter, where you currently are; as long as you know, where you would like to be and what’s the price you are willing to pay!!
Neel Preet: Next, I would want you to tell us about some of those writers, who had inspired you and whom you follow!
Arun Bhardwaj: Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Og Mandino and so many more.
Neel Preet: Is there any message that you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!
Arun Bhardwaj: It’s never too late, to live the life that you want. Many people feel that I couldn’t accomplish what I wanted because of my upbringing or because of my education or because I am too old or because of my luck or stars etc. but I feel they are all excuses. It’s within us to change all that through the power of a single thought!
Neel Preet: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.
Arun Bhardwaj: I haven’t thought about my next project but I will continue to share my learnings and experiences, so that more and more people can benefit.
