Dr. TPS: Two main reasons inspired me. Firstly, the Bhagavad Gita’s timeless wisdom offers practical guidance for life’s challenges. I wanted to make this wisdom more accessible for modern readers. Secondly, witnessing people’s struggles firsthand convinced me the Gita’s principles can empower them and bring inner peace.
Neel Preet: The title is thought-provoking. Why this title?
Dr. TPS: “The Gita Way” refers to using the Bhagavad Gita as a guide for life. “Listen, Analyze & Practice” highlights the key steps the book encourages: actively engaging with the teachings, reflecting on their meaning, and incorporating them into daily life. The title effectively communicates the book’s purpose.
Neel Preet: What was your mindset while writing, and what do you expect readers to gain?
Dr. TPS: My goal was to share the Gita’s wisdom with a modern audience, make the ancient scripture relatable to everyday challenges, and empower readers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I believe readers can expect practical guidance, universal appeal, spiritual growth, and a bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary issues.
