Answer – My name is Bhawna Sharma. Bhawna means “feelings” or “emotions,” which reflects the way I see and experience the world. I come from Himachal Pradesh, a peaceful state in northern India that has deeply shaped my inner sensitivity and connection to nature.

Question – What inspired you to write your first book, The Unseen Within?

Answer – I felt a strong need to write The Unseen Within because it gives voice to the quiet struggles so many people face—especially those who go through life without the emotional support they need. This book is a space for the deeply feeling, the introverts, and the silent sufferers who often carry their pain alone. I truly believe it will offer comfort, validation, and a sense of belonging to those who feel unseen in a loud world.

Question – How much of this book is based on your real-life experiences?

Answer – The entire book is rooted in my real-life experiences. Every chapter reflects emotions I’ve lived through—moments of silence, pain, growth, and awakening. It’s not just a story; it’s a mirror of my inner world, written with honesty so others might see parts of themselves in it too.

Question – Why did you choose this title – The Unseen Within?

Answer – I chose the title The Unseen Within because so often, we overlook the vulnerable emotions living inside us. Instead of acknowledging them, we tend to suppress or ignore them—sometimes without even realizing it. This book is about bringing those hidden feelings to light, creating space to see, feel, and accept what’s been buried deep within.

Question – While writing the book, what emotions did you feel the most?

Answer – While writing this book, I felt every emotion I once struggled with—but now, I could hold them with care. I no longer drowned in them; I flowed with them. Writing became a way to meet my feelings with understanding instead of fear.

Question – Which chapter or part of the book is closest to your heart, and why?

Answer – Every chapter, every page, every word in this book is close to my heart. It’s all woven from my lived emotions, so I can’t separate one part from another. Each moment I’ve written carries a piece of my soul, and together, they tell the truth of my journey.

Question – You write a lot about loneliness and healing—was it difficult to open up about these things?

Answer – Yes, it was difficult to open up. I had fears—wondering what people would think of me after reading such vulnerable parts of my life. But more than public reactions, I was most concerned about how my family would respond. These are deeply personal truths. Yet, to my surprise and relief, my family embraced the book with open arms and open hearts. That acceptance meant everything to me.

Question – How did writing help you in your personal healing journey?

Answer – Writing helped me understand my emotions in a way I never could before. What once felt messy and impossible to untangle slowly became clearer as I put it into words. Reading what I had written made it easier to make sense of what I was feeling. Even now, I continue to write because it lightens something inside me—it gives my emotions space.

Question – Who do you think should read this book? What kind of readers will connect with it most?

Answer – I believe everyone should read this book, because deep down, we all carry similar emotions—even if we express them differently. But it will especially resonate with those who feel deeply, who often keep their emotions hidden. This book offers them comfort, understanding, and a gentle space to acknowledge what they may have kept buried for too long.

Question – What message do you want to give to people who feel unseen or unheard in life?

Answer – To anyone who feels unseen or unheard: begin by gently acknowledging your own emotions. Your feelings are valid, even if no one else has said it out loud. Take time to understand what you’re going through, and trust that healing begins from within. Instead of waiting to be rescued, explore what truly helps you feel whole again—because you deserve to be seen, first by yourself.

Question – Did you follow a writing routine, or did you write whenever you felt like it?

Answer – I wrote only when I truly felt like writing. For me, it wasn’t about following a routine—it was about honoring the emotions as they came. I let the words flow when my heart needed to speak.

Question – How did your family and friends react after reading your book?

Answer – My family and friends accepted me and my emotions with love and understanding. They appreciated how deeply I had explored and expressed each feeling, and it meant a lot to be seen and supported for who I truly am.

Question – What challenges did you face while writing or publishing the book?

Answer – The biggest challenge I faced was emotional, not technical. Writing meant revisiting some very personal and painful feelings, and opening up so honestly wasn’t easy. As for publishing, I didn’t face many difficulties—my only challenge was figuring out how to take that first step. But once I did, everything started to flow naturally.

Question – Do you plan to write more books in the future? If yes, what will they be about?

Answer – Yes, I would love to write more books in the future—especially novels. I want to explore human emotions through stories that feel real and relatable, weaving depth, healing, and silent truths into characters and their journeys. Just like The Unseen Within, I hope my future work continues to touch hearts in quiet, meaningful ways.

Question – What advice would you give to someone who wants to write their first book but is afraid to start?

Answer – My advice is: start small, but start. Don’t wait for the perfect moment or the perfect words—just begin with what you feel. Writing your truth is powerful, even if it feels scary at first. Fear is natural, especially when you’re opening up emotionally, but don’t let it silence your voice. Your story matters, and someone out there needs to hear it. Trust that the words will find their way once you give them space to come through.
