Questionnaires:
Neel Preet: Firstly, Congratulations on your book, “WHAT-Reason Behind Every Desire.” Well, can you please share your experience about making your work come into the form of a book?
Abdul Ghaffar: Thank you, Neel Preet, for your warm wishes. It has been an incredible journey turning my thoughts into a book. Writing this book allowed me to explore my inner self and express my ideas in a way that could potentially benefit others. It was both a challenging and fulfilling experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my insights with readers.
Neel Preet: What inspired you to write this book? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?
Abdul Ghaffar: The inspiration for this book came from my deep curiosity about the reasons behind our desires and motivations. I believe that understanding the “why” behind our desires is crucial for personal growth and fulfillment. The impetus behind this work was the desire to provide readers with a valuable perspective on this topic, empowering them to make more conscious choices in life.
Neel Preet: You’ve given a very interesting title to your book, which is very catchy too, so what made you go for this title for your book?
Abdul Ghaffar: Choosing the title “WHAT-Reason Behind Every Desire” was a deliberate decision. I wanted a title that encapsulated the essence of the book – exploring the underlying reasons behind our desires. The title aims to pique the reader’s curiosity and encourage them to deep dive into the subject matter.
Neel Preet: What was your mindset while working on this book? Is it based on any particular experience of yours?
Abdul Ghaffar: My mindset during the creation of this book was one of curiosity and introspection. While it draws from personal experiences and observations, it is not solely based on my own life. I sought to combine personal insights with broader concepts to make the book relatable and valuable to a wide range of readers.
Neel Preet: Will it be right for us to consider this book of yours as the second part of your earlier self-help book, “WHY-Reason for Every Action”?
Abdul Ghaffar: Indeed, there is a reverse continuity between these two books, as the first book is “WHAT-Reason Behind Every Desire” and the second book is “WHY-Reason for Every Action.” Although they form a direct sequence, each can also be comprehended independently. Both books are self-contained and provide unique insights into personal development and the comprehension of our desires. The first book explores the motives behind actions, while the second book directs towards the reasons behind desires.
Neel Preet: What are some of the learnings that you gained from writing this book of yours?
Abdul Ghaffar: Writing this book was a significant learning experience for me. It deepened my understanding of human desires and motivations and reinforced the importance of introspection and self-awareness. It also highlighted the power of effective communication in conveying complex ideas to a broader audience.

Some of the notable ones include Charles Duhigg, Olsher Steve, Robin Sharma, Arundhati Roy, and James Clear. Their works have been instrumental in shaping my perspective on personal development and human psychology.
Neel Preet: Is there any message that you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice that you would like to give to the readers out there?
