Questionnaires:
Neel Preet: Firstly, Congratulations on your book, “Life And The Supreme Order – Me Unveiled!” Well, can you please share your experience about making your work come into the form of book!
Dr. K. K. Moza:
Thank you, In life, we often encounter turning points that shape our thought process and lead us on unexpected paths. For me, one such turning point came when I decided to leave my career in teaching and research behind. I found myself getting lost in the materialistic world of parties and luxury, seeking fulfilment in all the wrong places. It was during this time that I had a profound encounter with near-death experiences (NDE) and out-of-body experiences (OBE), which completely shifted my perspective on life.
These experiences forced me to delve into introspection and contemplation, leading to a profound shift in my thoughts and ideas. I realized that there was more to life than the pursuit of material wealth and superficial pleasures. I began to see the world through a more spiritual lens and scientific discoveries seeking meaning and purpose in every aspect of my existence.
It was this newfound understanding and wisdom that inspired me to put pen to paper and compile my thoughts into a tangible book. I believed that sharing my profound insights and philosophical musings could serve as a guiding light for others who may be navigating the complexities of existence. The book seamlessly weaves together spiritual wisdom, personal anecdotes, and universal truths, offering readers a tapestry of enlightenment and contemplation.
Through my writing, I aimed to gently nudge readers towards self-awareness and inner peace. I hoped to provide them with the tools and guidance they need to embark on their own journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. The book serves as a reminder that true fulfilment and contentment can only be found within oneself, and that the pursuit of material possessions is ultimately futile in the grand scheme of life.
As I reflect on my journey and the impact of my book, I am humbled by the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences with the public. My hope is that my words resonate with those who are seeking a deeper understanding of life and the universe, and that they find solace and inspiration within the pages of my book. Ultimately, I believe that my work serves a greater purpose – to foster a sense of unity and interconnectedness among all individuals, guiding them towards a more meaningful and fulfilling existence.

Neel Preet: What inspired you to write this book? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?
Dr. K. K. Moza:
Following a near-death experience in October 1993, I was initiated into Kashmir Shaivism by the late N. N. Koul Nazir and later by Pt. H. N. Kaw, with the divine blessings of Late Pt. B. N. Koul Nazir and his wife Badi Mummy (Basanti Koul Nazir). In 2020, my journey took a contemplative turn after the loss of my sister Krishna, affectionately known as Belly. This period of solitude, along with subsequent hospitalization in August 2021 and a strange out-of-body experience on the night of August 28, inspired the creation of my book, “Life and the Supreme Order – Me Unveiled” The companion piece, “Me Unveiled,” shares insights from my near-death experience and subsequent spiritual journey expressed through prose. It’s inexorable how these expressions occur; I feel a pressure from the back of my head, the medulla, compelling me to write when fully immersed in observation.
Neel Preet: You’ve given a very interesting title to your book, which is very catchy too so, what made you go for this title for your book?
Dr. K. K. Moza:
The universe is a wondrous and complex place, full of dynamic occurrences that we are just beginning to understand. Drawing from my in-depth exploration of nature, religious commentaries, and personal experiences, I have come to see the interconnectedness of all things in the universe. It is as though everything is like the fruit of a tree, connected to the root through a trunk, and guided by an invisible Supreme Order.
I have always been curious about the natural world and its mysteries. From the smallest insect to the grandest mountain, there is a harmony and balance that runs through all living and non-living things. Through my observations, I have come to appreciate the intricate web of life that connects everything in the universe.
Religious commentaries have also shaped my understanding of the universe. The monotheistic thought of Spanda Shastra has resonated with me, as it teaches that the entire universe is a dynamic occurrence. This idea of a dynamic and interconnected universe is further reinforced by my personal experiences. I have witnessed the beauty of nature and the awe-inspiring power of the natural world, and it has filled me with a sense of wonder and appreciation for the universe.
In the grand happening of the universe, time plays a crucial role in shaping our existence. The flow of time influences the choices we make and the paths that we take in life. It is through this understanding of time and its impact on our lives that I have come to see the interconnectedness of all things in the universe. One finds order everywhere.
Neel Preet: What was your mind-set, while working on this book? Is it based on any particular experience of yours?
Dr. K. K. Moza:
From my early days, my father nurtured my passion for learning, guiding me through the realms of English literature. He encouraged me to read Readers Digest editorials by Frank Morase and Dom Morese, as well as Illustrated Weekly by Sardar Kushwant Singh. My studies at IIT later propelled me into abstract readings of technical literature, fuelled by a thirst for research and the pursuit of new knowledge. Subsequently, I evolved into a socialistic non-believer. However, on October 23rd around 9:30 pm, I experienced a cardiac arrest and was revived by the then-neighbouring doctor, Dr. Ganapaty, with the help of CPR. During this near-death experience, I saw everyone, including my body lying on the bed, weeping and wailing. Dr. Ganapaty asked everyone to move out, administered injections, and applied repeated pressure on me. Upon losing consciousness, I found myself in the ICU. When a cut was applied, my breath came back. I could observe how Prana leaves our body. Initially, it started contracting from toes, moving upwards. As it crossed the navel, belly button upwards, I felt relaxed and came out of my body, as if I was watching everything from the rooftop. This experience deepened my quest for the truth beyond time and space dimensions. My spiritual journey started after I met my Guru at a party organized by Guru brother Tej Kishen Koul Reazi in Panchsheel, Delhi.
On August 28th, late at night in 2021, I was shifted from the ICU following an episode of pancreatitis. I observed air bubbles in my drip and alerted the staff on duty, including the doctor, that this could lead to a seizure if unattended. An argument ensued, and I lost my cool, calling my son Kunal and nephews Sanjay and Sanjeev to take up the matter with the hospital’s administrator. After some time, things got under control, and I lay on my bed with a raised head. For the past 2-3 days, I had been feeling tinnitus, and the ringing stopped when I closed my eyes. During those days, I was following Naad yoga. Immediately after closing my eyes for 5 minutes consciously, my eyeballs turned upwards, and mixed noise started ringing. I felt like I was in some whirlpool being pushed upwards at hypersonic speed, and I moved through all types of lights and stars. The noise became louder and culminated in Aum. Afterward, I found silence and was passing through galaxies after galaxies. What I saw was inexpressible, and suddenly my son caught me, saying, “Papa, what are you doing?” I came back to my body, felt relaxed, and this state lasted for three days until I was finally discharged. I decided to pen down my experiences explained through prose.
Neel Preet: What are some of the learnings that you gained from writing this book of yours?
Dr. K. K. Moza:
The essence of my learned lessons centres on the idea that the entire universe is a dynamic occurrence, maintaining harmony and equipoise through order. Preceding the Big Bang, there existed matter and antimatter, mutually annihilating each other. Subsequently, this led to the expansion, formation of the universe, creation of galaxies, planets, and Earth, followed by the emergence of water, single-cell microorganisms, oxygen, ocean life, land-bound life, Homo sapiens, and the ongoing evolution of humanity, showcasing unity in diversity. Conflicts stem from divisions fuelled by ego, arising from insecurity or a desire for superiority, given the inherently gregarious nature of humans.
Neel Preet: Next, I would want you to tell us about some of those writers, who had inspired you and whom you follow!
Dr. K. K. Moza:
Influenced by spiritual luminaries such as Abhinavagupta, Yogananda (whose “Autobiography of a Yogi” was presented to me by my guru brother Rajinder Koul Nazir), Lal Ded and Jiddu Krishnamurti, Swami Prabhupada for The Bhagwat-Gita as It is, as well as literary figures like Thomas Hardy, Ernest Hemingway, George Bernard Shaw, and Pearl Buck, wisdom quotes, Lal Vakhs, these diverse inspirations shape my writing.
Neel Preet: Is there any message that you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!
Dr. K. K. Moza:
The core of my advice emphasizes unequivocally rejecting comparisons and divisions. I advocate for a harmonious coexistence where everyone transcends rigid beliefs, fostering open acceptance without judgment. Despite being deeply rooted in religious teachings from birth to adulthood, which contribute to social order and discipline, the essence of life further lies in encouraging a broader, more inclusive perspective.
Neel Preet: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.
Dr. K. K. Moza:
Before penning “Life and the Supreme Order – Me Unveiled,” I authored two self-published books on Shaivistic thought and the Divine Dance of Shiva through Shakti. Currently, I’m engrossed in crafting a commentary on Trika Philosophy and a personal odyssey titled “Challenging Odyssey.” Beyond these, I aim to publish a concise book on prose writings and a technical guide titled “Handbook on Geotechnical Investigation and Foundations” by 2024.
