Author’s Background: Author Jyoti Kiran, is known for her children’s picture storybooks, “Tara Ka Ghar,” which got published in the year 2022 and “Bijju Aur Buti,” which got published in the year 2023. Interestingly, both of these titles by Author Jyoti Kiran are illustrated fictional reads for children and young readers. Moreover, Evincepub Publishing had published both of these books and they are available in paperback as well as in e-book format. Neel Preet: Firstly, Congratulations on your latest release, “Bijju Aur Buti!” Well, can you please share your experience about making your work come into the form of book!

Jyoti Kiran: Thank you very much…..” Bijju and Buty” this is the story of a brother and sister whose dreams are bigger than the resources they have, but they do not give up. Due to lack of information who knows how many such brilliant children’s dreams could not be full filled, but in my book “Bijju and Buty” have created new dimensions of success with their hard work.

Neel Preet: What inspired you to write this book? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?

Jyoti Kiran:  While working in tribal dominated areas I have seen many schools like this . There is a very beautiful relationship between teachers and children. children also want to study and teachers also want to teach.

            I want to bring out through this story that we need to work for education in rural areas . Work will have to be done…. some new policies will have to be made and they will have to be implemented honestly.

Neel Preet: Your book is having a collection of 50 short stories! So, what kind of moral message can the readers find in these stories?

Jyoti Kiran: Education can change the world our biggest enemy is illiteracy

Neel Preet: While writing the book what was your mind-set? How is this book different from your previous title?

Jyoti Kiran: While writing this story I became very emotional many times the difficulties in buty’s life made me cry… but I want children in rural areas to read this and think that lack of resources can slow them down but cannot stop them.

Neel Preet: Apart from children’s fiction genre, in which other genre would you like to contribute?

Jyoti Kiran: I write poems and one’ Khand Kavya’ is also coming. This book is also coming in English…. the English translation of my previous book “tara ka ghar” will also be available to the readers soon.

Neel Preet: Studying the stories of this book, I’m greatly impressed & I want you to explain, in your version that how this book will appeal the readers!

Jyoti Kiran: Bijju’s playful explanation about life and Buty’s mental strength will impress the readers.

Neel Preet: Next, I want you to tell us about some of those writers, who had inspired you!

Jyoti Kiran: Yes I like books written by many writers…. especially Nagarjun, shri lal Shukla, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi…. Reading books is a pleasure in itself.

Neel Preet: Is there any message that you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!

Jyoti Kiran: Good use of time and consistency is the basic Mantra of success.

Neel Preet: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Jyoti Kiran: As I told earlier, the English translation of this book is also coming. The English translation of my previous book” Tara ka Ghar” will also be available by next month. One Khand Kavya” Bhula Nahin Tha Tumhen Maa” will also available among the readers next month.
